I’ve been debating about whether or not to write about “24: Redemption” because I don’t really want to beat a dead horse (What does that even mean? Why would anyone beat a dead corpse like that!? Expressions are stOOOpid.)

I will say this though: Overall, “24” has proved that it’s sorry for its sins committed during Day 6 (the total suck-fest, etc) and it’s ready to come back and kick some major ass.

What I liked most about “Redemption” was that the show proved that it can be realistic again. The world problem was very real, and the reason for Jack to be in the middle of it was also very believable. I hope “24” keeps things like this in mind when Season 7 comes (even though production is almost finished. Whatever. I hope it follows suit.).

The new president, Alison Taylor, looks promising! After the days of Logan and that other douchebag who’s not even worth me looking up on on a 24 wiki, I think President Taylor will be someone to root for.

So Jack, the answer is yes. I will march onward with you through 2009! Let’s make it a good one.
