American Horror Story: Cult isn’t set to premiere until Sept. 5, but creator Ryan Murphy and company just dropped the new opening credit sequence and it’s creepy af.
There’s all sorts of weird imagary including a figure in a gas mask carrying a dog (yikes), bees seething out of a hive, a bloodied American flag, and figures donning Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton masks. Looks like we’re bound for another season of some serious WTF!? moments.
The credits for the horror anthology’s 7th season oddly lists only five cast members (Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Cheyenne Jackson, Billie Lourd and Alison Pill), but other previously announced cast members include Emma Roberts, Billy Eichner, Colton Haynes, Leslie Grossman, Frances Conroy(!!!), Mare Winningham, Chaz Bono, Adina Porter and Lena Dunham.
