The “Doses & Mimosas” duo known as Cherub have a new album out. Just play “Bleed Gold, Piss Excellence” in the bedroom and watch the panties drop, gentlemen. Chicks dig these guys. I mean, with lyrics like: “You make me feel like, uh, like an extra chicken nugget in a 20-piece meal, and that’s some real special shit girl,” WHO WOULDN’T!?

Cherub makes fun, funky tunes that aren’t to be taken too seriously (with the exception of “Doses,” which is actually a sad tune if you really listen to it). But “Disco Shit”? “Strip To This”? They’re been pissing excellence for years.

The new disc is pretty damn skippy (<—serious journalistic opinion), but the best track is “Signs,” featuring T.I. The beat makes me want to chug liquor and take my clothes off. (My name’s Nick and I’m a Gemini. Hey gurl.)
