My trusty Entertainment Weekly magazine (the Fall Preview issue…really, a Godsend) tells me that Glee is going to have some kickass guest appearances this season! Honestly, they had me at Jane Lynch, but these two appearances bolster my will to watch it every week.
Pretty Awesome Guest Appearance #1: Kristin Chenoweth. With Pushing Daisies cancelled, and Chenoweth’s legal drama pilot not getting picked up, Chenoweth gets to sing (again!) in all her glory. She’ll portray a former glee alumna. Hopefully it’s just as sweet as her cover of They Might Be Giants’ “Birdhouse In Your Soul.” And she’s reeeeeally easy on the eyes, which is always a plus. Observe:
I may have used this picture before, but I don’t care. Moving on..
Pretty Awesome Guest Appearance #2: VICTOR GARBER, BITCHES. Garber is going to play Will’s supportive father. Some of you may remember my obsession with Garber during my bout of watching Alias DVDs. I watched the entire series in abouuuut a month and a half. (Jack Bristow is a true American hero!) So yes, any Garber is good Garber.
I don’t know why I’m writing this post. Oh, wait – it’s because I was too lazy today to write the one I actually wanted to write! Tomorrow I will present you with the TLW’s Top 10 Most Anticipated Shows of the Fall! Some are newbies, and some, returning faves…stay tuned!
(Hint – Glee is one of them!)
