There is a Golden Girls-themed Clue game coming out soon.
What else could you people possibly need to know!?
According to USAopoly: The Golden Girls Clue® features a custom illustrated game board, where players attempt to solve the crime of WHO ate the last piece cheesecake, WHAT they left at the scene of the crime, and WHICH room they did it in.
Savage.
Here are the game pieces. The green one kinda-sorta looks like Rose’s boyfriend, Miles, while the yellow piece kinda-sorta looks like Dorothy’s piece of shit ex, Stan. There were probably some image licensing issues there, but who cares, because Golden Girls.
The evidence appears to be hairspray, a robe (maybe?), lipstick, a shoe, a wicker chair, and Sophia’s purse. These are pretty basic, but follow along kids…it doesn’t matter, because GOLDEN GIRLS.
The board map is the sexiest of all, despite its flaws, but take a look:
Shouldn’t the kitchen be on the other side? And the lanai behind them? I guess the actual layout of Blanche’s fictional home wouldn’t suffice for a Clue-style board game, but we’ll let it slide because (you guessed it): Golden Girls.
Golden Girls Clue looks like a lot of fun—maybe only if you’re a Clue fan, but definitely if you’re a Golden Girls fan. While this may seem a little bait-y, jumping on a bandwagon show that the internet has been embracing feverishly, I’ll definitely be picking this up…and giggling every time I say the word “lanai.”
Why don’t Stan and Miles have Faces?
I’m not sure! This photo was from a pre-order page. In the actual game, Stan and Miles do have faces!
The person who posted this said that it might be because of image licensing issues.
