With the influx of photos, performances and memories being posted on the Internet of Wham! singer George Michael comes this rare rehearsal footage. While prepping for a Freddie Mercury tribute concert, Michael slays “Somebody To Love” alongside Queen’s very own Brian May, making every sane person in the world wonder why Michael never officially replaced Mercury in the first place. (He’s a total shoe-in…and believe me…no one is Freddie Mercury.)

May shared his shock on Instagram after learning of Michael’s death. “No words. RIP George,” he wrote. If only the two could’ve performed more together.
