Blockbuster season is almost upon us and as always, it’s looking like a packed summer at the movies. Captain America: Civil War, X-Men: Apocalypse, Star Trek 3, Jason Bourne, and Suicide Squad  are just a few of the movies on the docket to titillate geek boners worldwide. As rad as some of these movies are bound to be, the movie I’m still slobbering about is Ghostbusters (which, as if this even needs to be said, includes the resurgence of Ecto Cooler. I am just a man.)

The first trailer for the Paul Feig directed reboot finally hit and I’m really digging the vibe. Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy are comedy vets at this point (if you haven’t seen Spy yet, do that immediately) and SNL‘s Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon look like able supports to the project. So new cast…trying to prevent paranormal beings from taking over New York City…yada yada yada. The CGI looks really great though, and in addition, cameos from the older cast are confirmed including Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver and Annie Potts, so hey, bonus.
