…but I only LOVE “The Oblongs”. What a great, great too-short-lived cartoon. Thanks to Adult Swim, I’ve been catching up on the entire series (and also thanks to Em for keeping on me to watch it and also my trusty DVR for recording those late-night 3am episodes!).

But HELGA! She haunts my entire existence!

Her voice is so grating! Her very being, so atrocious and disgusting!  Yet someway, somehow her grotesque mannerisms demand laughter.

And the lovable A.D.H.D.-prone Milo Oblong is also too much. Whether he’s flying kites in circles or eating trash out of the garbage with his dog Scottie, Milo alone is worth watching the show for.

To top off all the already-encompassed awesomeness: Will Ferrell voices dad Bob Oblong and Jean Smart voices mom, Pickles.

Netflixers, Adult Swim fans – Rent “The Oblongs”. Or try being old-school and staying up til 2am one night to enjoy this rare treat. It’s totally awesome and totally worth it.
