John Hughes died today at 59 from a heart attack while out for a morning walk in Manhattan.
Hughes made Molly Ringwald a star, directing films such as “The Breakfast Club” and “Sixteen Candles.” He also directed “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” and wrote the hit movie “Home Alone.
His films played a large part of many 80’s teens’ lives, and he’ll be sorely missed. RIP.
2009 is a good year to die, I guess. RIP John Hughes.
