The Queens of the Stone Age lead singer has been blowing up the Internet since the release of last year’s supremely-mega …Like Clockwork and holy hell, am I glad he and the gang are back. He’s a perfect blend of cranky curmudgeon and badass rock star. As music swarms toward Pop (both of the bullshit variety and the creative), EDM, and boring Mumford wannabees, we need to hold on to our rock stars with all our might.

In a couple of the more buzzworthy clips of Homme being Homme, he exclaimed in Houston: “Fuck everything. Fuck the man. Fuck Imagine Dragons and fuck the Grammys.” Then in Florida, he kicked some asshole off stage for being a douchebag. Because you don’t creep up on Homme, on HIS STAGE, when Homme is playing.
