I’m currently watching Key & Peele‘s fourth season. I never watched it when it was on TV. I don’t know why (because I suck), but I’m working diligently to right these television wrongs that I committed against humanity.

In the 9th episode, Key undergoes an aerobics meltdown that is one for the record books, my friends. If you haven’t seen the skit, here it is in all its glory. There’s lots of spandex, killer dance moves, neon colors galore, and the GREATEST MUSIC EVER.

I posted a screenshot of Key & Peele from this very skit on Instagram and got a text from a friend saying that she had watched that same skit just one hour prior. She then linked me to this: a glorious, real-life aerobics championship video, with the Champion Theme song fully in tact. IT’S REAL. IT HAS LYRICS. And Spotify has it! And iTunes has it! This nugget of excellence is simply called “National Aerobic Championship Theme” by Ty Parr, who unsurprisingly, has no other songs listed on my streaming service of choice.
