It’s been a slow week here at The Winz. I’ve been busy watching and re-watching the new season of Arrested Development along with the rest of the entire Internet universe (…but more on that later). The humid New England heat and lack of caffeine have also made me rather lethargic. What is it about summer that demotivates the shit out of you? Ah, the glorious sunshine.

When you’re trying to beat the heat (No, seriously. It’s hot as balls. I can’t even walk to my car without breaking into a full-on sweat). Where was I going with this? The thing…the lead-in…just do yourself a favor and watch Maria Bamford’s new web series entitled: Ask My Mom!

Bamford is known for being sort-of mentally ill (which is part of her routine and appeal, in my opinion) and for her many zany/weird characters and voices.  She’s also, perhaps, known for appearing on Louie. You can also catch her in that brilliant, yet polarizing Arrested Development season I mentioned above. But here in this web series, Bamford portrays both herself and her mother, and us viewers get to take part in the fun. New episodes hit the web every Thursday, where real-life viewers (hey, that’s you and me!) can submit questions for “Maria’s mom” – who if you know Bamford’s material, she does a killer impression of. So Bamford answers your questions under the guise of her Mom character and it’s super fantastical and amazing.
