New Jersey’s Screaming Females are known for their rip-roaring punk, led by frontwoman Marissa Paternoster’s scowly growls and piercing guitar shreds. In the latest installment from A.V. Club’s A.V. Undercover series, which films artists covering generally unexpected songs, the band takes on a viciously alternative rendition of Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off.”
Paternoster shimmies her shoulders, while strumming her axe through the electric bridge. Her trill throughout the track’s verses is so unlike Swift, and that’s what makes this cover so damn appealing.

I love this version so I had to trim it to be able to download it in mp3 off of Tubemate and save it in my music folder. AWESOME!!
